Human milk is the first food the newborn receives and provides all the nutrients needed for growth. In order to feed children with lactation problems, Human Milk Banks (BLH) were implemented, which preserve this food through the processes of pasteurization and freezing. Since human milk is very perishable, this work has studied alternative preservation processes, such as spray drying, high hydrostatic pressure and UV radiation, in order to preserve and avoid nutrient losses in human milk.
