Other applications, such as land use management through remote sensing products and precision cartography, are suggested in the form of charts and maps. It can be seen that geoprocessing, if combined with strategic field visits, becomes a tool with a high potential to contribute to optimising management.

Dr. Cassiane ist Agronomin, MSc Geographie: Fernerkundung und Dr. Bodenkunde. Sie arbeitet auf dem Gebiet der Geowissenschaften, angewandt auf die Überwachung der Landwirtschaft. Dr. Nelson ist Chemiker, MSc Chemie, Dr. Angewandte Physik mit einem Post-Doc in Hygiene und Umwelt. Er arbeitet an der spektroskopischen Analyse von Wasser, Boden und Vegetation durch Fernerkundung.
