Membrane Bioreactor, one of the most coveted technologies nowadays for the treatment of waste water that seeks much interest among the research fraternities. However, the utility of membrane reactor is limited by the conventional constraints associated with normal membrane application. This book explores the applicability of high shear environment within the membrane bioreactor to alleviate such constraints. Finally, the modeling of the process was done using artificial neural network followed by a new concept of kinetic analysis, called biochemical system theory.
