The objective of this work is to understand and model the hydrological functioning of the watershed of the middle valley of the Medjerda, from the dam Sidi Salem to the mobile dam Laâroussia, through a spatialized hydrological model, HEC-HMS. By data constraint, we limited ourselves to the sub-basin Siliana Laouej of area 282.63km², having a wide geographical and hydro-climatic variability, for a series of daily hydro-rainfall data of duration 2 years. The choice is set for the SCS-CN function for the production function, and for the HU function for the transfer where the modeling is conducted according to the Split Sample Test doubly validated. Based on the simulation results of the calibration procedure chosen to evaluate the hydrological modeling of our study area, we can say that the HEC-HMS model simulates in an acceptable way the hydrological response of the Siliana watershed with an overestimation of the maximum flows observed, while taking into account the missing data ofthe two existing dams in the study area, and which can largely improve these results.
