Present study was carried to evaluate the antiallergic activity of methanolic extracts of four members (Ageratum houstonianum, Fumaria indica, Alstonia scholaris and Sisymbrium irio) of different families. Antiallergy investigation showed that methanolic extracts of Ageratum houstonianum, Fumaria indica, Alstonia scholaris and Sisymbrium irio exhibited protection among all skin allergies (Erythema, Edema, Vesicles and Bullae) and possesses more potential in curing of different skin diseases as compared to standard drugs like Polyfax and XyloAid. All the Plants extracts paste are more effective as compared to spray. The plant paste of Fumaria indica and Sisymbrium irio are more effective then plant spray at 250µg/ml that are recovered within 36 hours, while the Alstonia scholaris and Ageratum houstonianum show quite good results. These plants can be used for treatment of skin allergies by carrying out further studies and checking their toxicity.
