The second note addresses the EFL learners themselves to encourage them to take the responsibility of their learning in the guidance of their poetry teacher. In addition to the introduction, the content of the book is of two parts. Each part is of two chapters. The first one provides the historical cultural background and the influences it cast on the poetry of the period, whereas the second chapter provides some selected poets with some selected poems of theirs as examples of the era's poetic voices. Finally, the material was generally intended to give the learners the keys of how to appreciate poetry of the said eras as a stepping-stone in the world of poetry criticism.
