Alan Rosen was a 2005-06 fellow at the International Institute for Holocaust Research, Yad Vashem. His books include Sounds of Defiance: The Holocaust, Multilingualism, and the Problem of English and Obliged by Memory: Literature, Ethics, and Religion, edited with Steven Katz. His current project is a book on Holocaust testimony.
