Who am I? Where do I stand and who do I want to be? Where do I go and what's the best for me? In this inspiring book of memoir and poetry, biotech scientist turned award winning educator, speaker, and progress specialist Mehrnaz Bassiri takes us from her childhood in Iran through two immigrations and a host of hard-earned lessons before she settles in Canada and into herself. She must overcome cultural repressiveness, crushing social pressures, selective mutism, sex discrimination and personal trauma in order to unleash her entrepreneurial spirit and find personal peace. Through hearing about her journey of self discovery and the insights that sculpted her path to her passion and life's work, we are moved to ask ourselves whether we too can benefit from investigating our motivations, aspirations and personal histories. Mehrnaz invites us to try while at the same time she surprises us with her own touching and thought provoking story.
