Due to the increasingly high level of performance achieved in the most important competitions, the coach's job has become increasingly complex and particular, in an attempt to transform performance training into a more modern and harmonious process. In this sense, we have turned to a multitude of ways to modernize training sessions, finding newer and better solutions, solutions that can be used on a daily basis. Some of these are: the conditions simulator; the biomechanical movement optimization model for running conditions; the systems approach to the problem of high productivity training; the application of the "DMU Kinematics" module to gait modeling, as a future approach; the application of statistical analysis methods to training data; data acquisition (respiratory rate, temperature and heart rate - during and after effort) with the LabView method; use of the Taguchi method in high performance training and to optimize the training of high performance marathon runners; motivational issues in relation to the practice of a performance sport.
