Il est expert en fatigue des structures métalliques et des composants de machines, en évaluation expérimentale des dommages et en prédiction de la durée de vie utile, ainsi qu'en phénomènes tribologiques dans les contacts mécaniques. Il est ingénieur agréé et membre de l'IMechE.
