Autorenporträt
Klaus Tenfelde (1944 - 2011) war Professor für Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeschichte in Innsbruck und Bielefeld. Von 1995 bis 2011 hatte er den Lehrstuhl für Sozialgeschichte und Soziale Bewegungen an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum inne. Dort war er zugleich Direktor des Instituts für Soziale Bewegungen und Initiator der Stiftung Bibliothek des Ruhrgebiets und des Hauses der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets.
