Chapter 1 is introductory and contains a brief account of geographical background of the region, physical features, drainage, geology, underground water, hydrographic changes, soil. Chapter 2 includes the field work conducted by the researcher. Each site is discussed with special reference to its location with correct geo-coordinates, size of the site, cultural sequence etc. Chapter 3 contains various type of studies viz. rank size frequency, categorization of the site, locational analysis, nearest neighbor analysis and spacing between sites. Chapter 4 is devoted to the study of ceramics which includes Pre-Harappan, Early Harrapan and Mature Harrapan, Late Harrapan, Printed Grey Ware, its associated wares and Historical pottery. Chapter 5 incorporates the study of miscellaneous finds viz. beads of various material, bangles, terracotta sling balls, discs, cakes, toy-cart frames and wheels, gamesman, stone objects, copper objects etc. Chapter 6 contains the history of the region reconstructed on the basis of the archaeological studies along with the other material. Chapter 7 has the conclusion drawn by the researcher.
