Nalini Singh was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. She spent three years living and working in Japan, and travelling around Asia before returning to New Zealand now - although she's always plotting new trips. She has worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher, not necessarily in that order. This is without a doubt one of my all time favourite series, from the minute I pick up one of the books until the very last page I'm completely and utterly absorbed in the world and the characters and I never want the journey to end. In fact, I think the only way I'm going to survive the wait for the next book is by rereading the series again! Feeling Fictional
