Autorenporträt
Charles H. Fairbanks was the chair of the University of Florida Anthropology Department from 1963 to 1970. As a Southeastern US and historical archaeologist, he worked on such sites as Ocmulgee, Fort Frederica, and Fort Center. Frank M. Setzler was the head curator of anthropology at the Smithsonian Institute. Mark Williams is Emeritus Sr. Academic Professional at the University of Georgia and coeditor of A World Engraved: Archaeology of the Swift Creek Culture.
