Faced with the immensity of the universe and the great diversity of life on earth, many questions arise. Charles DARWIN proposed an answer to the enigmas of the origin of life and man, by formulating the famous "Theory of the Evolution of Species". This was immediately accepted and acclaimed as a great scientific discovery. It was published and hurriedly taught in secondary schools and universities as a major scientific fact. But it did not meet with unanimous approval among evolutionary scientists, some of whom demanded proof. In seeking to prove this theory, evolutionists instead found evidence of the opposite, i.e. of creation. Since then, scholars have been retracting positions for and against. And both camps have been hurling insults at each other. This book analyzes the contradictory statements made by scholars during these great academic debates, and draws lessons and practical conclusions.
