Suresh Chandra is a postgraduate in English literature and a gold medalist in BA English. After serving in various departments of Central and State governments he retired as a Deputy Commissioner Sales Tax UP. Since his retirement in 1992 he is associated with several small and big NGOs. He himself founded one NGO which is working for the welfare of senior citizens and poor but deserving students. Beside numerous articles he has authored six books -four of them on the problems of the elderly and the retirees. The present book is a result of his long experience and vast studies about the working of NGOs.
