Autorenporträt
Pauline Lafond is a writer and retired teacher. She was a trained Reading Recovery Teacher, and taught early and middle years for most of her career. In her later years she went on to administration, eventually rising to become superintendent of a rural school division. Pauline enjoys travelling and spending time at her cabin with family and friends. Her grandchildren are a mix of French Canadian and Punjabi, and speak three languages. The lack of Indo-Canadian representation in children's books pushed Pauline to finally write a kid's book, a long-time dream of hers. Pauline lives in Winnipeg, with her husband.
