In 1992, Shelley Frost co-founded the Center for Animal Protection & Education (CAPE) with JP Novic, Executive Director. CAPE's sanctuary in Grass Valley, Old Friends, is a non-profit organization that rescues and provides shelter for injured, disabled and older animals.
