This book is dedicated to schizophrenia.It retraces the experiences of patients with this disease throughout their lives. The book gives an overview of their daily life. First with the confrontation with the disease and the entry in the psychosis by underlining the importance of duration of untreated psychosis in term of prognosis. The book then illustrates the suffering of patients in the face of the stigmatization and discrimination of which they are the objects. Finally, the book addresses the problem of the attachment of schizophrenic mothers to their children and their access to motherhood.
