C. C. Lockwood is a wildlife photographer, naturalist, and lecturer. His work has been published in over one hundred books and magazines, including National Geographic. His other collections of photographs include Beneath the Rim: A Photographic Journey Through the Grand Canyon; C. C. Lockwood's Louisiana Nature Guide; The Yucatán Peninsula; and Discovering Louisiana. He lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
