Wilkerson is a poet, playwright, and theorist, and teaches writing at Columbus State University, and he has been recognized with the Lillian E. Smith Creative Arts Fellowship and holds an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte, NC. His works include the chapbook A Primer for the Minotauric Arts, Threading Stone, and Table 5, a collaborative series of surrealist prose poems.
