What is intuition and where does it come from? How does it interact with making and viewing art and how can it be encouraged? These are questions raised by the Patricia Paxson within the pages of Art and the Un-thought Process, here you'll find a renewed look at these haunting questions... From brief overviews of both Sigmund Freud's and Jacques Lacan's work relating to the unconscious mind within the general area of 'healing' patient's minds, we move to an entirely new orientation of the idea of the unconscious as developed and discussed by Anton Ehrenzweig in the late 1960's.
