Autorenporträt
Cindy Jewell strives to design quilts that are unique and fun to color. (Sewing these new quilts is icing on the cake!) She enjoys playing with fabric when she isn't coming up with new plant-based recipes, gardening or dabbling in other arts and crafts. Cindy Jewell began writing blogs in 2011starting with Genius Cafe, a collection of new recipes for transitioning to a plant-based diet (cindyloocolleen.blogspot.com and geniuscafe-eatsmart.blogspot.com). She also writes about creating things (myprojectsaroundthehouse.blogspot.com), and she blogs about writing and quilting (arttherapyquilts.blogspot.com). Cindy Jewell is a Landscape Architect (ASLA) and for the last twenty years has worked for a utility company in drafting and Geographic Information Systems Mapping Technology (GIS). She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University, 1990. She lives with her Superman Husband and Bob, a loving shelter-rescued pitbull, and a whole school of koi in the backyard pond.
