Yasmina Reza, geboren 1959 in Paris, Schriftstellerin, Regisseurin und Schauspielerin, ist die meistgespielte Theaterautorin unserer Zeit. Nach dem Prix Molière für ihr erstes Bühnenstück ("Gespräche nach einer Beerdigung", 1987) erhielt sie zahlreiche internationale Auszeichnungen. Neben "KUNST" wurde "Der Gott des Gemetzels" zum weltweiten Erfolg, auch verfilmt von Roman Polanski.
