Cecília Samel si è laureata in Filosofia e Scienze Umane presso l'Università Federale di Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Attualmente sta studiando per un master in Arti, Cultura e Lingue presso la stessa istituzione, con un progetto sul concetto di artista di Arthur Danto dal titolo "Andy Warhol's (self)portrait: the artist according to Arthur Danto".
