Autorenporträt
Dr. Pavlo A. Molchanov (Senior Member, IEEE) is a highly accomplished professional with an impressive educational background and extensive experience in the field of radar and antenna engineering. He received his M.Sc. degree from the Radio Technical and Electronic Devices Department of Kyiv Polytechnical Institute, Ukraine. He later obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Radio Electronics Department of Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) in Moscow, USSR, in 1971 and 1980, respectively. He has been a US citizen from 2003. Dr. Molchanov has made significant contributions to the field of design of antenna arrays for low altitude missiles. He has been a Principal Investigator in various projects funded by the US Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (AF SBIR) program and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). In these roles, he designed LIDAR/RADAR systems, protected GPS systems, and developed sense and avoid antenna arrays for US Navy Ships and Naval Aviation. Dr. Molchanov's expertise is well-documented through his extensive publication record, which includes 250 publications, 5 textbooks, and 20 patents. His work has significantly contributed to the advancement of engineering and technology in the field of advanced antenna arrays and related areas.
