Jian-Hong Sun obteve o grau de Mestre no Programa de Sistemas de Informação Informática da Universidade da Assunção, Tailândia, em 2009. Atualmente, é Professor Associado na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade de Honghe, na China. Os seus actuais interesses de investigação incluem a bioinformática, a extração de dados e a análise de grandes volumes de dados.
