Dr. Charles J. David (1937-1991) Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, Dr. Charles J. David received his MD from Bombay University and completed his residency in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. He moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he practiced and taught at Dalhousie University. His writing interests went well beyond scientific papers-his ambition to be a writer had been with him since his teen years. He wrote the novel Aryas-Warrior of Brahma in the 1970s and 80s, but his early death precluded publication. His family took on the task of completing his life's dream of becoming a published author. He is survived by his wife, 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren.
