Catherine lives in Sydney with her husband, they have three sons and three grandchildren. She has been in the profession of medical imaging for thirty-five years, pre-dominantly in the field of ultrasound. Catherine has been writing for twenty years, having contributed articles to medical journals and had won several awards for short stories. She has a passion for history and developed a strong interest in US history in high school. She has travelled throughout the Civil War battle sites.
