Farjana Ahmed es profesora asistente del Departamento de Diseño Gráfico de la Universidad de Dhaka. Ha completado su doctorado en el Departamento de Diseño Gráfico de la Universidad de Dhaka, Bangladesh, durante el período de 2021. Su tesis doctoral se titula "Diseño de cubiertas e ilustraciones de libros para niños de Bangladesh (1971-2012).
