This book presents a picture on the Characteristics of common sexually transmitted infections at Mary Immaculate Clinic, Nairobi - Kenya. The Clinic Serves people from the informal settlements of Nairobi. A larger population of those served come from Mukuru slums. This is a slum within the Nairobi's Industrial area. This industrial area is an attraction factor for many young people looking for job opportunities. There is a very close relationship between people's socio-economic status and their health and especially Sexually transmitted diseases. Because of less bargaining power in exchange for opportunities, some young people fall victims and become vulnerable even to other related health problems like HIV/AIDS among other sexual and reproductive health problems. This book can be useful to students, instructors and lecturers taking community health, public health and Social work in Kenya as a source of knowledge and guide to inform interventions. It can also be useful for those doing academic publication as a source of knowledge.
