Acid Jetting is one of the methods of near-wellbore formation damage removal targeting production enhancement. It is widely applied in the oil and gas industry by services companies around the world. This works experimentally evaluates the efficiency of acid jetting at conditions similar to the actual field conditions and investigates importance of the mechanical filter-cake removal by the liquid jet and the dissolution of the filter-cake and formation solids by the acid. In particular this work shows how jetting duration and jet velocity affect jetting efficiency. This work is addressed to…mehr

Produktbeschreibung
Acid Jetting is one of the methods of near-wellbore formation damage removal targeting production enhancement. It is widely applied in the oil and gas industry by services companies around the world. This works experimentally evaluates the efficiency of acid jetting at conditions similar to the actual field conditions and investigates importance of the mechanical filter-cake removal by the liquid jet and the dissolution of the filter-cake and formation solids by the acid. In particular this work shows how jetting duration and jet velocity affect jetting efficiency. This work is addressed to production, stimulation and completion engineers for both operator and services companies as well as for research scientists.
