Janet Driscoll was born in Yorkshire, England and has been mediumistic from been a child. In 1974 a move to Devon changed Janet's life when she became involved with the local Spiritualist Centre and started to develop her Healing and Mediumistic gifts properly. This led to running mediumship development and healing groups, at the Newton Abbot Church Centre, and then in 1981 The Light Colour Centre at home. She has been giving demonstrations of mediumship to the public proving life after death, workshops, and Sunday Services in Spiritual Centres in England and abroad. Through recommendations and a rare gift, she is able to work with a variety of translators. Janet has worked at Spiritual Centres, on the continent and especially in Basel, Switzerland, and was the first Spiritualist medium to give a Sunday Service on the Algarve in Portugal, she has also worked in Jersey, and in Holland, her work has taken her to Centres in the United States in Atlanta, North Carolina, Gainesville and Florida and numerous Spiritualist Churches.
