Autorenporträt
ARNOLD WALTER was educated at the universities of Prague and Berlin, and received a doctorate in music from Mount Allison University. Until 1968 he was director of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto. He is now a trustee of the National Arts Centre, vice-president of the Canadian Music Centre, and vice-president of the Interamerican Music Council.
