Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) offers a range of new methods for psychopathological assessment in daily life. Different eDiariy designs have recently been used to assess the occurrence of intrusions. Aim of this study was to investigate the suitability of different design in means of participation compliance and possible reactivity effects, incorporating eDiaries for the first time in the assessment of analogue intrusions. Long-term aim was to extrapolate implications for the assessment of intrusions in PTSD patients.
