This establishes the need of this study to analyze the impacts (positive or negative) on Abadi area due to the industrial development in Pithampur area and also to arrive at strategies to safeguard their development in the society as a whole. This study may also help the development authorities to minimize side impacts in the future. This study focuses on analyzing the impacts on demography, social, economic and physical aspects in the Pithampur region before and after industrial development.

Mr. Prakash Mahto is an urban planner who has completed Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Vijayawada in 2017-19 and Bachelor in Urban Planning from SPA, Bhopal in 2010-14. His interest areas are Policy analysis & Governance, Infrastructure planning, and community development.
