Due to these transformations, the socio-economic condition and the development of the Abadi areas have come to risk and are falling in the vulnerable segment, especially on socio-economic aspects, like jobs, access to facilities, etc. There has been no study conducted so far to analyze the impacts of industrial developments on the Abadi areas in Pithampur region. This establishes the need of this study to analyze the impacts (positive or negative) on Abadi area due to the industrial development in Pithampur area and also to arrive at strategies to safeguard their development in the society as a whole. This study may also help the development authorities to minimize side impacts in the future. This study focuses on analyzing the impacts on demography, social, economic and physical aspects in the Pithampur region before and after industrial development.
