Waste generation is an important part of the human nature. As human beings continue to live, waste generation will also continue to exist. Most of the waste generated however is of economic benefit. This benefits can be brought to bare in most instances when there is recycling of the waste. To achieve a quality recyclables, segregation of waste is key. Segregation however is less likely practiced in the developing countries. This piece is therefore to assess the efficiency of segregation in a University community.
