With the increasing trends of outsourcing within the telecommunication industry in Ghana and globally, it is important to have an idea of how outsourced functions have impacted operation and maintenance within the industry. This research sought to identify factors that influenced telecommunication management to outsource telecommunication tower management activities, identify the benefits derived from outsourcing operation and maintenance of telecommunication towers and to determine what impact the decision to outsource has on the operation and maintenance of these telecommunication towers. Various levels of managers, Middle level including engineers participated in responding to questionnaires and interviews in two major telecommunications operating companies in Ghana.
