Regular physical activity is responsible for a healthy mind and a healthy body and it is a cut - down on health care expenses. Poor adherence to physical activity limits its benefits and the possibility to improve one's health and quality of life. A good adherence to physical activity contributes positive psychological and physical well being. Medical professionals have a busy work schedule and they do not have much free time. It is hard for them to maintain their optimum level of fitness. Hence this study was done to find out the adherence to physical activity in medical professionals of Vikhe Patil Institute of Medical Sciences, Ahmednagar.
