Temnit Hadera hat ihren MSc. in Umweltplanung und Landschaftsgestaltung am Äthiopischen Institut für Architektur, Bauwesen und Stadtentwicklung der Universität Addis Abeba erworben. Seitdem arbeitet sie als Beraterin und Forscherin im Bereich Städtebau an der Ethiopian Civil Service University.
