The book tittled Assessment of Erodibility Tendencies of Selected Soils in parts Watari River, Kano, Nigeria is written with intention of extending knowledge of erodibility tendencies of selected soils found in the catchments of River Watari in Kano state, Nigeria. The cathments of Watari River is more affected by erosional processes because of the sandy nature of the soil and agricultural activities going on upstream. Soil samples were collected from different land use and land facets after identifications on aerial photographs and base map of the area. The samples collected were analysed for selected physical and chemical properties to assess the effect of erosion on the soil properties in order to see which soil property and under which land use/ land facet is affected by soil erosion. Laboratory investigations revealed that all the soil properties tested were affected by erosional activities except sand fractions which increased especially in the gullied and cultivated sites. The water infiltration rates was also found to be higher in the gullied areas when compared with other sites and this make the areas in the gullied sites to be water deficient in most times of the year.
