Thus far Lesotho has travelled a long route to Democracy but the pace towards the progress is not satisfactory. Political parties have shown there are setbacks on institutional performance of organs of government intrinsic for attainment of stable democracy. In Lesotho today, statutory bodies should be granted constitutional emancipation from government control and influence to curtail negativity held by contesters for state apparatus.
