This study was conducted from March, 2020 to June, 2020 in Bole sub-city which is one of the ten sub-cities of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The sub-city covers area of 157.85 ha and has a population size of about 85,776 which makes it one of the densely populated sub-cities in Addis Ababa. The study is done in a cross-sectional study design and multistage sampling procedures were employed to select households for this study. Bole sub city were randomly selected from Addis Ababa. Tow Administrative woreda were selected using lottery method from the list of Bole sub city, followed by selection of households from each woreda using systematic random sampling method. The data were collected from 217 households through face to face interview using pretested and structured questionnaires. STATA Windows version 14.0 was used for data analysis. Descriptive statics techniques and Pearson's chi squares analysis were used to manage the data and the association between outcome Knowledge and explanatory variables. Of the 217 respondents interviewed, 106 (49%) of them were males and 11 (51%) females and 70 (61%) were between 31-45 years old. The majority of the respondents 166 (75%) were Orthodox.
