This study was conducted in the wood processing unit of ADAF-BOIS in Soa. For this purpose, an evaluation method based on the relationship between the worker and his activity was used. Thus, the first analysis of the organisation of work and the characterisation of the equipment used reveals that two major groups of workers can be determined, namely, task workers and full-day workers. The third analysis, based on noise mapping, provides a general overview of the noise distribution in the factory and therefore helps to facilitate the implementation of the recommended measures. The fourth analysis, based on the principle of cost-effectiveness analysis, identified a series of important measures to be implemented in order to effectively reduce noise.
