It is a known fact that the energy efficiency level of residential buildings can be increased by improving their energy performance and therefore significant amount of energy can be saved. Therefore this study aims to develop measures which are effective in improving energy performance of residential buildings with the goal of achieving optimum benefit for country resources and decision makers and to assess life cycle energy, economic and environmental performance of residential buildings.

Ass.Prof.Dr. Suzi Dilara Mangan obtained her B.Sc. in architecture from Yildiz Technical University, M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Istanbul Technical University. She has been a BREEAM Assessor since 2010. Her research area covers energy efficient building and settlement design, climate responsive design and building physics physical environmental control.
