About the Book Access to educational opportunity is a prerequisite for social and economic transformation in contemporary society. This work assesses the utilization of textbooks at primary school level as an avenue for knowledge and skill acquisition for development. The work provides an exclusive and timely analysis of the procurement and utilization of textbooks in a typical rural context by providing both qualitative and quantitative data to triangulate the findings.
