Patients with end-stage chronic renal failure present a significant deterioration in their nutritional status, early recognition and therapeutic management are essential to improve the prognosis of these patients and to alleviate a real public health problem which concerns between 20 and 50 % often with a multifactorial origin and a significant increase in morbidity and mortality (Protein-energy malnutrition (MPE)). The aim of the work is to study the prevalence of malnutrition in hemodialysis patients based on clinical and biological parameters as well as its predictive factors. Multidisciplinary management by the nephrologist, nutritionist and dietitian is imperative in order to detect early a state of undernutrition in hemodialysis patients, thereby reducing the frequency of comorbidities and improving the effectiveness of dialysis. thus providing a better quality of life.
