Produktbeschreibung
The theme of this book is the process of association and occupational identity, taking the case of the Association of Street Vendors of Betim (ASSOVAMB) as its object of study. The City Council of Betim, in Minas Gerais, when implementing policies to revitalize the city center, relocated all the vendors who used the streets to a single location, forming a "camelódromo", and ASSOVAMB currently represents the vendors who are gathered in this space. The aim of the book is to understand the perspective of ASSOVAMB members regarding the exercise of their activity after the constitution of the association, settling in a camelódromo and formalization of occupational activities through the Individual Micro Entrepreneur Law (MEI). As well as comparing whether or not having worked on the streets at some point has led to different perceptions of how they identify their occupational identity.
