Autorenporträt
Mark J. Thomson, MD FACEP is an emergency physician. He is one of ten children raised in the small town of Chelsea, Michigan. Trained at the University of Michigan Medical School and Providence Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. He began practicing in a small rural ER with single physician coverage in Novi, Michigan and finished at Level One Trauma Centers. For many years he was chairperson of the Emergency Department and Providence Hospital Ethics Committee. After 36 years of practicing emergency medicine, he is now retired and living on a hay farm. At The Beside is his first book.
