Autorenporträt
Tierza Groce found her inspiration to write after being introduced to the life and art of the late Maya Angelou at the age of fourteen. She would go on to write many poems and short stories of her own that derived from unfortunate as well as beautiful encounters through adolescence. These remained concealed in several notebooks and diaries out of fear of what others would think of her thoughts, feelings and experiences. Although reluctant to sharing her art, she continued writing; believing that there must be a purpose for all that comes to her to put to paper. Shortly after graduating high school with honors Tierza became a young mother to a son changing her life's path causing her to focus on the necessities of life...working to keep a roof over their head, food in their tummies and clothes on their backs. By mid-twenties Tierza found herself needing a change of scenery so she leaves Minnesota where she was born and raised to take on a whole new world on the east coast in Maryland where she was able to tap into other hobbies such as youth outreach, interior design and music. A few short years later she ended up on a midnight train...well, more like a midnight U-Haul to Georgia where she now resides pursuing her dream of changing lives through her writing which has become her ministry
